ATDbio is an independent company operating from the University of Southampton; it's main focus is diagnostic DNA research.
ATDBio was established by Professor Tom Brown, who has an impressive track record in business. His previous spin-out company, Oswel Research Products Ltd prepared fragments of DNA for medical research and was so successful that it was bought out by a larger company. Professor Tom Brown then went on to set-up ATDBio, a company which operates in all aspects of oligonucleotide synthesis and the development of nucleic acid technologies.
The company synthesises a wide range of modified oligonucleotides and oligonucleotide analogues, and is able to make oligonucleotides that other suppliers cannot produce.
With an extensive capability to consistently deliver high quality products based on a deep understanding of nucleic acids chemistry, ATDBio is interested in establishing partnerships with companies and organisations with complementary interests.
