The NMR Spectroscopy Facility in the School of Chemistry at Southampton offers a fast and comprehensive service to both the academic and industrial communities.
The NMR Spectroscopy Facility supports the teaching and research activities of the School of Chemistry with four Bruker NMR spectrometers.
All systems have multinuclear probes and automatic sample-changers.
- Two 400 MHz spectrometers provide an open-access “walk-up” service for trained users.
- One 400 MHz spectrometer allows trained users to run longer experiments or collect data at variable temperatures

One 500 MHz spectrometer primarily acquires longer or more specialised measurements.
