British teachers' trip to China, November 2023

From October 30 to November 8 2023, the Confucius Institution (CI) at the University of Southampton and at the University of Cardiff collaborated to organise a "Chinese Bridge" delegation of British teachers to visit China.

Teachers from Bohunt School Worthing visited Xiamen, Quanzhou, Beijing, and other places. They also visited two schools in China and conducted a series of rich cultural study activities.

With the efforts of our CI, the British Bohunt School Worthing successfully established a sister school relationship with the Xiamen Music School and held a signing ceremony.

This collaboration marks a significant step between China and the UK. This trip to China has strengthened educational and cultural exchanges between China and the UK. It also helped to deepen British educators’ understanding of Chinese language and culture.
