We have a friendly group of over 50 PhD students. Scholarships are available for suitably qualified candidates in both Schools. We welcome applications to study in any area of Operational Research / Management Science / Information Systems.

We are able to offer supervision across a wide range of OR/MS techniques and application areas, including but not limited to: health care modelling , scheduling , discrete/combinatorial optimization , continuous optimization, cutting and packing , nonlinear optimization , simulation , transportation and logistics, game theory,  sport, supply chain management, revenue management, risk and behavioural modelling , decision analysis, credit scoring , data mining and financial modelling , knowledge management , project management and stochastic programming .
