Professor Danny Pfeffermann - Elected as a Fellow of the IMS

The Department of Statistics and Demography has a great pleasure to announce that Professor Danny Pfeffermann has been elected as the Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics. The IMS confers the title especially for "demonstrated distinction in research in statistics or probability" and "well-established leadership in the application of statistics or probability", both of which perfectly describe Danny's contributions to the development of advanced statistical theory, and applications in official statistics.
