Maribel obtained her PhD from the University of Castilla La Mancha and, after experience as a postdoc, she moved into the emerging field of the nano-pharmaceutical industry. She returned to academia for her current position as a postdoc in the Laboratory for Inorganic Colloidal Nanocrystals and Applications at the University of Southampton. Maribel will talk about her personal journey between academia and industry in Spain and the UK.
