Our current objectives (from 2021/22)

We want all students to have a good inclusive experience – we will proactively work to ensure that all students feel they belong on an equal basis within the University and that we foster an environment that makes it possible for all students to progress with success.

We will review our approach to staff recruitment and promotion processes to advance inclusivity amongst our staff and provide information to inform line managers’ and recruiting mangers’ decision making.

We will identify our key EDI performance indicators and make it easier for students and staff to see how we are progressing against key indicators that measure EDI progress.

Staff and students take personal responsibility and accountability for their behaviour, actions and decision making and the impact they can have on equality.
