Hi, I'm Samantha Daughtrey and I studied BSc Education within Southampton Education School at the University of Southampton.

Q: What did you achieve through studying at the University of Southampton?
The modules available on the course give you the flexibility to pick the areas of education that you’re interested in. I noticed towards the end of my three years that it was higher education that pulled my interests so I was able to tailor my modules to suit that. That was something about the course that was really good and I did actually go in to a college setting.
Q: What are your plans after University?
I work in Higher Education in Outreach and Recruitment, so I encourage people to go on to study at university particularly targeting those from social and economic backgrounds that wouldn’t normally go on to study, and I’m really enjoying it.
