Mental Health Awareness Week

Join us this Mental Health Awareness Week (10 - 16 May) as we explore the Five Ways to Wellbeing . These are five evidence-based ways to contribute to positive wellbeing which are recommended by the NHS.

The events that will take place during the week will be displayed below - please visit each page for more information. Please note, these events are for University of Southampton students only.

Monday - Student Life at Highfield Campus

Student Life will be visiting Highfield Campus to connect with you about the types of support available to you at University. If you have any questions or you're on campus and fancy a chat, go and say hello!

Tuesday - Student Life at Mayflower Halls

Student Life will be visiting Mayflower Halls to connect with you about the types of support available to you at University. If you have any questions or you're in Halls and fancy a chat, go and say hello!

Wednesday - Student Life at WSA

Student Life will be visiting Winchester School of Art - if you have any questions about wellbeing support, or you're in Halls and fancy a chat, say hello!

Thursday - Guided mindful meditation session

Mindfulness meditation can help manage stress and improve your concentration and focus. Join us to practise mindfulness meditation in a small group setting – all levels of experience are welcome.

Thursday - Wellness Walk at WSA

Join Sport & Wellbeing for their Wellness Walk. This will be a walk around a small route nearby the WSA campus to help get some activity in your day, outdoors in nature.

Friday - Steps to Wellbeing session

Join Rebecca and Rob from Steps to Wellbeing to find out more about the support you can access; you will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
