Environmental Science graduate leads Woodland Management Session
Environmental Science graduate Charlotte Warwick recently ran a Woodland Management Session for our first year students in local ancient woodland reserve, along with Environmental Science lecturers Dr Malcolm Hudson and Dr Pete Shaw.
Charlotte graduated in 2010 from the BSc Environmental Science course and is now working for Test Valley Borough Council as a Countryside Officer- managing local wildlife and working with local communities.
The session included an examination of the challenges of managing a nature reserve on the edge of a large city, and some hands on work clearing invasive tree species.
