Mr Mohammad Muazzam Sharif is Postgraduate research student within English at the University of Southampton.
Prior to attending the University of Southampton for my PhD, I gained a Master's degree in English Literature and Applied Linguistics from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2004 and joined the same as a lecturer in 2005. In 2009-10, I attended the University of Georgia, USA as a Fulbright scholar in a Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship programme. There I had the opportunity to work under the supervision of renowned scholars, Dr. Alan Godlas and Prof Kenneth L. Honerkamp. As a Fulbright Alumnus I completed various online English Language Learning/Teaching courses, which include an online intensive course ATDOP (Access Teachers Development Online Program) from University of Oregon with 98.8 P, in 2012. Recently in January 2013 I have been awarded an Overseas Scholarship fully funded by Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan, (AWKUM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Drawn by supervision opportunities and research resources, I began a PhD at the University of Southampton in 2013.
