The Global Religion and the Great War Colloquium provided insight into how religion shaped and influenced the Great War.

Many thanks to our three external speakers Dr Adrian Gregory , Dr Patrick Houlihan and Dr Hussein Omar (Oxford) who presented on the following topics: 'Religion and the Balfour Declaration' (Prof Adrian Gregory) 'The Irony of Human Rights: Catholicism during the World War' (Dr Patrick Houlihan) 'Muslims and Minorities in the Middle East' (Hussein Omar).
