Humanities' research centres enable us to examine issues from new angles, pooling the expertise of academics from a range of fields to conduct cross-disciplinary research.
From historical perspectives to global cultural and linguistic issues, the centres contribute to the humanities knowledge-base and have been successful in generating research funding from key organisations. You can find out more by visiting the individual centre websites.
Most of the centres organise regular lectures and seminars which (like those organised by individual disciplines) are open to all staff, students and members of the general public. Information is posted regularly the centres' webpages and/or the Humanities seminars pages.
