Research project

INTO: Intercultural tools to support migrant integration at school

Project overview

The INTO project (2013-2015), funded with support from the European Commission; Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency [grant number 540440-LLP-2013-IT-COMENIUS-CMP-2013-332, focused on the development of an innovative intercultural mentoring programme for students with migrant backgrounds in secondary schools in five countries: Italy (Oxfam, project coordinator), Cyprus, England, Poland and Spain. In England, three secondary schools in Hampshire were involved in the study.
The study produced a set of guidelines that could be used by schools that wish to use the mentoring programme. For more information, and to download the project’s guidelines, please follow the link below: https://interculturalmentoring.eu/en/
