How Educational Policy Supports Low SES Students' Academic Achievement: Students' Experiences

Project overview

The comparative study (Hong Kong, South Korea, and Beijing) aims to understand whether and how education policy has supported low SES students’ academic achievement, drawing on the learning and teaching experiences of stakeholders in schools in Hong Kong. In exploring the experience of students, in addition to document analysis, visual research methods (e.g., picture prompter, photo-taking) will be adopted to help students to share their feelings and day-to-day experiences.
