Thalia Styles LLB2016
During my law degree I became fascinated by family and healthcare law, winning the Irwin Mitchell prize as one of two top performers in health care law. It was an absorbing module, with debate on topics such as assisted dying, organ donation and abortion laws.
Like all students, I thought our lecturers were inspiring and encouraged us to fulfil our potential; I’m now looking forward to embarking on my career and feel sure what I learned at Southampton will help me to succeed.
In my final year, I volunteered in the pro-bono family law clinic. This experience showed how working in this area of law can really make a difference in the community.
