Workshop: Equal Pay: 50 Years On Event

50 years ago, Parliament passed the Equal Pay Act 1970. This was a landmark piece of legislation, aimed at ensuring the principle of equal pay for equal work. However, as high profile cases brought in sectors as disparate as journalist and cleaning demonstrate, this aspiration is far from being achieved. This workshop examines the current legal situation and considers strategies for real change.
