We are pleased to invite you to attend our Autumn Lifelong Learning Open Day. At this event you will be able to find out more about the Lifelong Learning courses on offer in Languages and in the Humanities and can join one of our language taster classes.

It is an ideal opportunity for you to get a taste of the language or languages you are interested in learning and to talk to our tutors about our language courses.
This event is an ideal opportunity for you to get a flavour of the language or languages you are interested in learning and to talk to our tutors about our language courses. We will also present some of our diverse and exciting new Humanities courses which will be on offer in our autumn programme. Topics will include: Historical Narratives of Winchester, Poetry writing, Philosophy, Women’s writing, Shipwrecks and Maritime Archaeology. More courses will be added to the programme throughout the year so if these are not to your taste join our mailing list to receive all our latest course updates.
The Open Day will take place from 10:00-14:00 at our Avenue Campus (please add the Avenue campus map, I'll send this link separately once I have the ticket number). There will be two sessions for each language (one in the morning which will be repeated in the afternoon) and you can join up to two sessions, if you wish to try two different languages. The languages on offer are:- Arabic, French, German, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese and Spanish. Due to popular demand, we are offering two Spanish classes. All sessions will be at Beginners level.
