On Sunday 24 April the ABP Southampton Marathon and Half Marathon will run through the heart of our Highfield Campus.
We will be welcoming runners and visitors with our Celebration Campus event, where there will be live music, refreshments and a fantastic location for cheering on the runners.
This is part of our anniversary celebrations, marking 70 years since our University received its Royal Charter from HM Queen Elizabeth II, during the first year of her reign.
We hope you will come and join the fantastic atmosphere on campus as you support friends, family and colleagues running the marathon or half marathon.
Our Highfield Campus will be an ideal vantage point to cheer on the runners as they come up Burgess Road – one of the toughest hills of the race, where the runners will need every bit of extra support!
There will be plenty to see and do for all the family on campus, too.
Please note that a photographer will be on campus taking photographs of the event for use by the University.
Date:
Sunday 24 April
Time:
10:00 to 14:00
