The aim of the Faculty of Medicine Research Conference is to showcase the quality and breadth of research currently being carried out within the Faculty.
Our 2016 Conference was held on 23 June 2016. The day included presentations from postgraduate research students, postdoctoral researchers, and clinical academic trainees.
As in recent years the Conference was held in Lecture Theatres 1 and 2 on Level B of the South Academic Block, Southampton General Hospital.
The format and precise date of the 2017 Research Conference is currently being reviewed. We expect to hold the conference during the week commencing 12 June 2017. For further information please email [email protected] .

On the 23 June 2016 we also held The Annual Wade Lecture. It was an honour to have Professor Michael Arthur DM FRCP FMedSci PFHEA, President and Provost, UCL give a lecture entitled "REF,TEF, Green Paper, Nurse and Stern; Whoops-a-Daisy".
