Noise and vibration performance is critical to the success of many engineering designs. For example, noise reduction is crucial for aircraft, trains and many domestic products. Acoustic principles are also used to give an enhanced acoustic experience, for example in designing the sound a car makes or the acoustics of a concert hall.
This course will provide you with a firm grounding in mechanical engineering. In the third and fourth years, you will specialise in acoustical engineering topics, benefiting in the expertise of world-class academics in their field.
