On the opening day of the 2nd Global-NAMRIP Conference held in Kampala Uganda, pupils from the Clever Academy performed a wonderful play explaining the issue of Antimicrobial Resistance. The conference was held on 4th - 7th March 2019.
The Mapping Microbes team worked with Bristol-based filmmaker Joseph Turp to develop 'In our hands', a short film about their project based on the poem by Michael Rosen. It tells the story of the spread of pathogens in a simulated hospital ward. Designed as a training tool for healthcare workers, nurses from University Hospital Southampton and Southmead Hospital, Bristol were involved in development of the film.
