Prior to giving the 44th annual Maurice Lubbock Memorial Lecture (the most prestigious lecture in Oxford University’s engineering calendar) on 14 May 2018, Professor Timothy Leighton spent the afternoon talking to school students who had come to hear the lecture. They discussed a wide range of issues, such as careers in science and engineering, ethics, valuing co-workers, building a team, and the challenge of a multidisciplinary career. They subsequently attended the lecture, which is broadcast here .
