Here's what some of our alumni from previous reunions thought
“A big thank you for a most enjoyable 'return' to university after 40 yrs! Having travelled up from Penzance earlier in the day I was relieved to find a most relaxed and informative daytime schedule. The highlight of course was catching up with faculty colleagues to share our diverse and surprising stories!”
“Thanks very much indeed for the recent Class Reunion weekend, 30th anniversary for me. Well organised, great fun, interesting seminars, staying back at Glen (but with en-suite!) was a real chance to reminisce.”
"Brilliant, inspiring and thought provoking tours, presentations and debates and a beautiful campus."
"I thoroughly enjoyed the Reunion Experience, thank you for organising it so well. Your team of assistants showing us round the campus, and the engineering team for the Research Tour, were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable."
“I thought the whole weekend was brilliant and was really impressed by the range of activities, and the helpful staff. So lovely to finally ride the Toastrack - no idea why I never got on board in my day. Breakfast was great. I really enjoyed the medieval walk - the guide made it very interesting and it was good to see how So'ton had changed, and how it had not.”
"What a great day. We were made to feel so welcome and felt like we belonged back at the University, at least for a day! There was so much to fit in and the presentations we saw were very well presented and showed us a side of the University we hadn't seen before. On top of that we managed to catch up with people we hadn't spoken to for years which was a lot of fun."
"I would recommend others to attend when their anniversary comes around and feel very proud that Southampton Uni is doing so well."
"It was worth travelling down from the Midlands just to hear Professor Bernard's lecture. One forgets what a pleasure it is to sit at the feet of a genius! If only I could be an Undergraduate again... I left feeling very proud of my University."
