Agnes Michalik is an Experimental Officer at the University of Southampton Ocean and Earth Science Analytical Facilities. Her professional experience includes elemental and isotopic analysis by ICPMS, HR-ICPMS, TIMS and MC-ICPMS. Agnes is a Registered Scientist at the Institute of Science and Technology and an Active Assessor with the Science Council. She is a PhD candidate at the University of Southampton. Her academic research explores material characterization of inorganic and organic specimens/samples using chemical dissolution and a novel analytical separation technique Asymmetric Flow Field Flow Fractionation (AF4), which separates and characterizes heterogeneous nanoparticles sampled in a wide range of environments.

I am responsible for implementation & validation of column separation methods, support maintenance of a suite of geochemistry laboratories and instrumental analysis by ICPMS, HR-ICPMS, TIMS and MC-ICPMS, AF4 and Zetasizer.
