Chris Frohmaier is a postgraduate student in the Supernova Group under the supervision of Prof. Mark Sullivan. His research looks into supernova rates in the local universe using the Palomar Transient Factory. To do this he mixes real observations with simulations of supernovae.
Chris is a part of the Astrodome , Planeterrella and Supernovae public engagement programmes, presenting at schools and events. He is also a founding member of the university spaceflight society.
