We are delighted that James Thomas and Farhad Shokraneh will be delivering this seminar.
Title of Seminar: “Utilising AI to support systematic reviews”
Speakers:
James Thomas is Professor of Social Research and Policy at UCL. He has made substantive contributions to knowledge to inform policy; methodological advances in the field of evidence synthesis; and computer science to support evidence synthesis.
Farhad Shokraneh is Evidence Synthesis Manager at the Infectious Diseases Data Observatory (IDDO) at the University of Oxford. Farhad has 20 years of experience in the field of evidence synthesis. He has led teams from five continents and delivered a diverse range of evidence synthesis projects, including systematic reviews, scoping reviews, network meta-analyses, evidence and gap maps, clinical practice guidelines, clinical evaluation reports, and health technology assessments to a diverse range of organisations such as WHO, UN, UNICEF, FDA, NHS, UK NIHR, Cochrane, AWMF, and NICE.
