Dr Sarah Wright is Programme Director: Doctoral Programme in Educational Psychology (DEdPsych) within Psychology at the University of Southampton.
Sarah completed her first degree in psychology at Sussex University and has a Phd in Psychology from University College London. Her Phd looked at the definition of children with reading and spelling difficulties. Sarah worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Bern, Switzerland on a number of dyslexia related projects. Sarah has worked part-time as an educational psychologist in Hampshire since 1997, and has been involved with the training of educational psychologists as a tutor at Southampton since 2004. Since 2010 she has been Programme Director of the D Ed Psy programme
I am a HCPC registered Practitioner and a Chartered Member of the BPS. I am also a full member of the Division of Educational and Child Psychology, and current chair of the training committee.
