Research interests:
My primary research interest is Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM). I have just completed a research project exploring how breast cancer survivors use the web to make decisions about using complementary therapies. Other research interests include: mindfulness, CAM education in the UK, and the treatment of long-term conditions. My studies so far have been on chronic pain, stress, emotion, and mindfulness meditation.

Reconceptualising patient-reported outcome measures as active components of complex interventions.
