Medical Students Summer Internship with Public Policy|Southampton

We are offering a paid summer internship program focused on addressing policy issues related to health disparities and public health . This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in the field of public health policy and opportunity to observe and take part in activities to translate evidence from research into policies. Prior experience in policy or research is not a requirement.

Students will be remunerated for up to 80 hours of work (scales based on level 2a spine point 13 uni workforce)

We are looking for up to three motivated and dedicated interns to join our team. Apply by 2 June 2024.

Internship Details:

Duration: July 1-31st.

Location: Hybrid/ Fully online

Training: Training on policy methods will be provided along with an induction day.

Responsibilities: Interns will work closely with the PP|S team to support stakeholder mapping and reviewing policy documents and key literature for relevant questions related to health inequalities.
