All University staff have a contractual sick pay allowance which means they're entitled to receive their full pay in accordance with the relevant policy, if they are off work due to illness or injury. The number of weeks of contractual sick pay an employee is entitled to varies depending on their grade, length of service, and how much sick pay they have previously received in the last 12 months. Contractual sick pay incorporates any entitlement to Statutory Sick Pay. Please see the policy documents further down the page for more information.
