Common Learning Space

Common Learning Space rooms range from tutorial spaces catering for small group activities to large lecture theatres housing hundreds at a time.

There are currently in excess of 180 Common Learning Space rooms on the Avenue, Highfield, National Oceanography Centre, Southampton General Hospital and Winchester School of Art campuses.

How to make a booking for teaching activity

You should submit all requests to book Common Learning Space for teaching activities to the appropriate Curriculum and Timetabling representative for your Faculty.

 

How to make a booking for a non-teaching University activity

To use the Online Booking Service

  1. Log into SUSSED
  2. Select "Room Bookings" from "Quick Links" in the 'Students' tab or from the 'Services' tab if you are a member of staff
  3. Further guidance is available in 'Web Room Bookings Guidance' found at the bottom of this page

 

How to make a booking for an event not solely related to the University (eg. a conference where a charge is being made for delegates to attend)
