Sadie Creese is Professor of Cybersecurity at Oxford University. She joined Oxford in 2011, before which she was Director of e-Security within the University of Warwick’s International Digital Laboratory. Sadie's research focuses on risk and security in adaptive, mobile, dynamic and cloud systems, with a focus on risk visualisation systems.
Prior to that, Sadie worked at QinetiQ where she was responsible for establishing the UK’s DTI (and now TSB) funded Cyber Security Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN). She led the KTN from concept, through development to delivery, and subsequently served as Director of the Cyber Security KTN from contract placement in January 2006 to her departure from QinetiQ in April 2007. She also taught on the QinetiQ professional short courses in the areas of Information Risk Management and Future Challenges in Information Security.
In addition, Sadie is also a member of the Strategic Advisory Group for the RCUK Global Uncertainties programme.
Sadie's experience in visualisation systems and risk modelling is contributing to the development of the final framework from the SuperIdentity project, with an emphasis on the areas of data combination and user interface.
