Sustainability skills are essential for our graduates entering the workplace. We are working with academics to ensure that they are equipped to deliver the teaching our students need.
Where is sustainability taught in the curriculum?
To know whether we are meeting the needs of our students, the Sustainability Action Programme mapped where sustainability is taught in all undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses in the University. This showed us that:
- there is more sustainability teaching than we expected and the amount is increasing
- we need to be better at promoting existing sustainability provision
- there are opportunities to expand our sustainability teaching

resources
on how sustainability relates to different disciplines, such as politics and international relations, economics, demography.
