Early career researchers (i.e. those who have completed a PhD within the last 6 years) have access to the Careers and Employability Service resources, including the ‘Drop-in’ or advisory service, which is now online during Covid-19.
There is a ECR login/registration that provides access to all services via MyCareer , the online Careers’ Database.
CHEP - the Centre for Higher Education Practice - supports academic development in general and specialises in education development. CHEP's SharePoint site is a useful resource for those looking to develop their education and academic practice.
You can book a one-to-one session with a careers consultant via the MyCareer service.

The ECR Development Hub in SharePoint, which has links to a selection of online courses and resources to assist your Personal and Research Effectiveness. The hub also contains a list of External Providers who offer independent coaching and training courses, and are experienced in the research environment.
The National Centre for Research Methods , which is based at the University of Southampton, runs a year-round programme of training courses and has a large library of free online resources.
