Biography
Mary Gobbi is a senior lecturer in Nursing at the School of Health Sciences, University of Southampton. Mary has worked extensively in the UK, Europe and abroad on a range of evaluation and strategic development projects related to international nurse and professional regulation, education and mobility. Her teaching interests are concerned with improving patient outcomes and experience through accelerated acquisition of tacit knowledge/learning, intuition, decision making and professional competence through simulation and technology enriched learning. Her research interests draw the bricoleur tradition and the use of technologies to research, evaluate, improve, develop and reshape professional knowledge and practices in an interdisciplinary environment.
