  • You will find a reference list for this course at the end of the lecture nodes. Here, are a few suggestions of texbooks.

    The official reference for this course is my own book:

    S. Khalil and S. Moretti, ``Standard Model Phenomenology'', CRC Press, 2022.

    Two excellent reference books, very recent, are:

    A. Rubbia, ``Phenomenology of Particle Physics'', CUP, 2022;

    S. Raby, ``Introduction to the Standard Model and Beyond'', CUP, 2022.

    For the part about Supersymmetry I recommend again my own book:

    S. Khalil and S. Moretti, ``Supersymmetry Beyond Minimality: From Theory to Experiment'', CRC Press, 2017.

    A good reference for learning about SM tests (particularly at colliders) from an experimental perspective is:

    A. Bettini, ``Introduction to Elementary Particle Physics'', Cambridge University Press, 2014.

    Some of the problem sheets and the examples given in the lectures could be tackled numerically, in this case I recommend programming in C++; a good book to look up to get acquainted with the language for scientific computing purposes is:

    W.-H. Steeb, Y. Hardy, A. Hardy and R. Stoop, ``Problems & Solutions in Scientific Computing'', World Scientific, 2004.

    Here are the problem sheets associated with this module:

  • Problem Sheet 1
  • Problem Sheet 2
  • Problem Sheet 3
  • Problem Sheet 4
  • Problem Sheet 5
  • Solutions are available upon request.
