Research Interests
I am broadly interested in nonconvex
and nonsmooth optimization problems. More specifically, my primary
research interests revolve around optimization problems with a hierarchical structure;
in particular, I have worked extensively on two-level optimization problems
commonly known as bilevel programming problems. These problems, which involve
two levels of decision making, respectively controlled by a leader
and a follower, represent a powerful tool for modelling the interactions
between various engineering, economic, and human systems. The most recent surveys
on bilevel optimization and related challenges can be found in our new book
here.
