Your Personal Exam Timetable is now available to view

Your personalised timetable will show you the definitive time/date, location and seat number for your exams.

If you have a ‘missing’ exam or have been scheduled on the wrong exam then please do not worry, just contact [email protected] as soon as possible.

Please note – Personalised exam timetables will not be available from Monday 27 December until the new year, due to the University’s Data Centre closure. Please make a copy before then to ensure you can access your timetable over the winter break. However, you will still be able to access the generic timetable to view all exams taking place in January on our website.

For further information on Exams, please view our Exams and Assessments website.

You should ensure that you know where the exam room is in advance, to prevent last minute panic or being late. Have a look at the campus map to familiarise yourself.

Please note: if exams are cancelled due to extraordinary circumstances (for instance severe weather, sudden loss of exam venues or changes to government guidance) they may be rescheduled to another date soon after, and/or may be moved online, (depending on circumstances) at short notice. We will be in touch with any students who would be affected as promptly as we can.

Read through the instructions for exam candidates to ensure that you know what to do and what to expect. If you require a calculator or dictionary or during an exam, read the Exam Regulations.

If you are prevented from attending any examination by some urgent cause other than illness, you must inform The Student Hub as soon as possible.

What to do if you are feeling ill

You should not start or continue your exam if you are feeling ill.

If you are feeling ill before your exam, you should notify The Student Hub as soon as possible.

If you feel ill during your exam, you should attract the attention of an invigilator by raising your hand and explain that you are feeling unwell. You can find more information our Exams and Assessments website

Where to study

The Hartley Library is currently open 24 hours a day, but opening times will be more limited from 18 December to 3 January. The Health Service Library is also open. For more information on opening times, check the Library website. If you live in University accommodation, all halls sites have study spaces available for you to use.
