Global Fellowships Award

At the University of Southampton we have been proud to welcome many international visiting researchers throughout the University's history.  Our visitors enrich the intellectual landscape on campus for staff and students, and as a result of these collaborations the University has forged links with partner institutions globally.

Global Fellowships

We will recall and celebrate 60 years of world-changing achievements, with the help of our current and former staff and students.
Changing the world for 60 years

Launching in 2018 this prestigious University Fellowship Award aims to attract the highest calibre academics from our priority partners to collaborate with University of Southampton staff. This award replaces the former Diamond Jubilee International Visiting Fellowships.

Each Fellowship is offered for a three year period to support the development of a collaborative partnership between the Fellow and their University of Southampton host member of staff. Funding is available to support a range of activities that promote research collaboration between individuals and groups at both institutions. During their Fellowship tenure each Fellow will spend a minimum of one month at the University of Southampton.
