Equality, diversity and inclusion are fundamental to making the University of Southampton a vibrant, proud and successful organisation.
Equality, diversity and inclusion are embedded in the University Strategy, and we have a dedicated Strategic Plan – Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) to help us realise our mission to create an inclusive university community, where individual members of staff and students feel welcomed, included and valued.
Our commitment is further demonstrated by the equality charters to which we are signatories; our comprehensive governance structure that supports us to deliver our equality objectives; and the wide range of ways for you to get involved and access support.
