Welcome to the Graduate School of the Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences. In the Faculty you are joining a large and diverse postgraduate research community. Most of your interactions will be within your Schools; at Faculty level we aim to provide a supportive framework in which you can develop as an independent researcher, including training in the some of the less subject-specific skills that you will need as a researcher and in your subsequent careers. I encourage you to make the most of the many opportunities that are provided to you during your time in Southampton.
