Dr Charlie House MEng, PhD, MIoA

Charlie is a Visiting Research Fellow within the ISVR, part of the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton.

Charlie completed his PhD at the University of Southampton in 2021, where he studied the application of active noise control technology to acoustic cloaking. Prior to this, Charlie graduated from the University of Southampton with an MEng in Acoustical Engineering.

Charlie is now employed by BAE Systems Marine as a Research Engineer, and maintains a close relationship with the ISVR as the industrial point of contact for the Intelligent Structures for Low Noise Environments team (ISLNE) .
