Mr Jeroen Van den Eynde is a Postgraduate research student with the AFM group within Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton.
Jeroen Van Den Eynde obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from TU Delft and a Master of Science (MSc) degree from Imperial College London.
Before joining the University of Southampton he worked in the European Space Agency's Propulsion & Aerothermodynamics Division, where he performed computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and fluid-structure interaction (FSI) simulations in support of ESA programmes.
He is a member of the Space Generation Advisory Committee (SGAC) and served as project coordinator and session moderator of the Space Generation Congress 2013 in Beijing, China. He has been a delegate to the Space Generation Congress in Naples, Italy (2012) and Cape Town, South Africa (2011), where he helped to formulate recommendations to the United Nations' Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UN COPUOS) about current international space policy issues.
