Clinical practice to meet patient’s needs

The Fundamental Care theme focuses on elements of care that are essential for the maintenance of health and dignity and the management of illness. Our research is organised into three groups:

• Bladder & Bowel Management - promoting the safe and effective use of products (led by Mandy Fader )
• Medicines Management - promoting effective use of medicines by patients, carers and health professionals (led by Sue Latter )
• Skin Health - techniques to identify risk and prevent the development of pressure ulcers (led by Dan Bader )
