Funding programmes
NETSCC manages six NIHR funding programmes that enable vital health research to be undertaken.
The NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC), based at the University of Southampton, manages evaluation research programmes and activities for the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), and plays an important role in improving the health and wealth of the nation through research. NETSCC also plays an important role in supporting the university to work towards its goal of being ranked within the world’s top-50.
NETSCC is part of the School of Healthcare Enterprise and Innovation , and has been contracted by the Department of Health and Social Care to manage evaluation research programmes and activities primarily as part of the research work strand of the NIHR.
