We are a group of women and men with shared interests and responsibilities, who offer each other informal peer support going beyond our regular meetings.
The Parents' and Carers' Network (P&CN) aims to support the working lives of colleagues who also have these off-campus responsibilities. Carers include those looking after someone who is unable to care for themselves due to old age or a disability.

Many of us have a parenting role alongside our University jobs: as birth parent, step parent, grandparent or through adoption or fostering.
Some of us currently care for an adult, or may be planning for this possibility in future.
We are all committed to linking our working lives with the wider community.

Each Easter and summer holidays, the Sport and Wellbeing team put on a range of children's activities, making good use of the University's facilities at Highfield, Woodmill and Wide Lane. For more information, please see the Sport and Wellbeing website or contact the team direct.
