Event details
You are invited to our February Network meeting, which will be led by Lorraine Lee a trained parenting practitioner with three children and a background in Child Psychology. Lorraine will be discussing how we can understand and meet the emotional needs of our children. As parents and carers, ensuring that our children’s emotional needs are met is vital in order to help them fell safe, secure and confident. It is also the foundation for building positive friendships and managing their behaviour positively. Obviously, as children get older their ability to manage and express their emotions increases and some of their emotional needs become more about friends than family. Being able to transition through the developmental stages with your child means that you can meet the right needs at the right developmental moment.
