Event details
A day for parent or carer and their child to work together learning to code BBC micro:bit a tiny programmable computer, designed to make learning and activities which you can take away and do at home with your child!
You will be given your very own micro:bit to try a number of fun coding activities which you can take away and do at home with your child! Suitable for children aged 1--13yrs who must be accompanied by their parent or carer throughout the day. Please bring a packed lunch. Led by teachers who are experts in computing education.
Activities include:
* Your name in lights
* Make a compass
* Measure temperature
Simple games including the steady hand game
Course costs £50 per child with parent/carer
