Both pregnancy and return to work can be challenging times. Here are some resources that may help you.
Yoga and fitness
You can find pre-natal fitness classes at the Jubilee Sports Centre. If you are a Sport and Wellbeing member, your membership can be suspended while you are on maternity leave. Check with JSC reception for more details.
These are yoga classes in and around Southampton for both pregnant and postnatal mums, with suitably-qualified teachers:
Milk expression and breastfeeding
A dedicated room will be available on Highfield Campus is available. Please contact [email protected] for details. Expect to see more details shortly. One of our members has set up an interactive map showing baby changing fascilities / breastfeeding / expressing rooms.

Maternity leave
You can find the University's Maternity Leave and Parental Leave (including Shared Parental Leave) policies and FAQs on the HR website. You can also refer back to the handouts included in the P&CN Shared Parental Leave workshop run in May 2015.
